I provide counseling services for children ages 3–18 and parents seeking support, using a warm, compassionate, and relationship-centered approach. I specialize in play therapy and am passionate about helping children express emotions, process experiences, and build healthy coping skills in ways that feel natural and developmentally appropriate. Through play, children are often able to communicate thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express with words alone. Play therapy can support emotional growth, strengthen resilience, and foster stronger connections within families.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Human Development and a Master of Social Work degree, along with specialized training in play therapy. Before becoming a therapist, I taught preschool for several years, which deepened my understanding of child development and the unique emotional and behavioral needs of young children. As a mother of three, I value the importance of supporting the whole family system and creating a safe, welcoming environment for both children and parents.

I have experience supporting children and families navigating emotional regulation challenges, behavioral concerns, trauma histories, anxiety, and adjustments to new life circumstances. My therapeutic approach incorporates mindfulness, emotional regulation skills, and play-based interventions, including sand tray therapy, to help children process experiences, build self-awareness, and develop new coping strategies. I also work collaboratively with parents, providing support with parenting strategies while strengthening connection and communication within the family.
